What our families actually need

New parenthood reshapes the whole household. Our support is designed for the entire family β€” parents, partners, and the people around you.

SLEEP

Rest for everyone

Overnight support so both you and your partner can actually sleep. When everyone's rested, recovery and connection come easier.

YOUR DOULA

Meet Aridia

Aridia

Parenting educator Certified postpartum doula Newborn care specialist

When I became a mother, I was shocked by how alone I felt once we got home from the hospital. All the big questions startedΒ afterΒ β€” when there was no nurse down the hall, no clear answer, and no one to call at 2 AM.

That experience is why I started Parentville Center. I work with families who deserve more than "you'll figure it out." My mission is simple: help every parent feel supported, informed, and confident during one of life's biggest transitions.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Everything you need to know before booking.

When should I book? +
Most families reserve support during their second or third trimester. Spots fill up, and having a plan in place before baby arrives reduces stress. That said, if you're already postpartum and struggling, it's never too late to reach out.
Do you cover my area? +
We primarily serve North Bergen, NJ and the New York area. If you're unsure whether we come to your specific location, just contact us β€” we're happy to confirm.
Are packages available? +
Yes β€” packages with bundled hours are available and are a great option for families planning more extended support. We'll go over all the options during your free consultation so you can choose what fits best.
Do you support breastfeeding and bottle feeding? +
Yes β€” always. I support whatever feeding approach works for your family, without judgment or pressure.
Do you work with twins or multiples? +
Absolutely. Multiples bring their own challenges and I'm experienced supporting families navigating them β€” from coordinated feeding schedules to overnight sleep strategies.
What happens during the free consultation? +
We'll talk about where you are, what you're anticipating, and what kind of support would help most β€” including packages and pricing. No pressure, just a chance to see if we're a good fit.
What's the difference between a postpartum doula and a night nurse? +
A night nurse (sometimes called a newborn care specialist) is typically focused on the baby β€” feeding, sleeping, and newborn care routines. A postpartum doula focuses on the whole family, including your recovery, your mental health, your partner's adjustment, and your confidence as a new parent. Think of it this way: a night nurse cares for your baby so you can sleep. A postpartum doula cares for your baby and helps you understand what's happening, why, and what to do tomorrow when she's not there. Both are valuable. But if you want to come out of the early weeks feeling informed, capable, and genuinely supported β€” not just rested β€” a postpartum doula is the right fit.
Can my partner or family be involved? +
Absolutely β€” and we encourage it. Partners, parents, and in-laws are welcome to be part of visits when that's helpful. One of the most valuable things a doula can do is get everyone on the same page: same guidance, same approach, less conflict at 3am. That said, we also respect that sometimes you just need the house to be quiet and the focus to be on you. We follow your lead.
Is postpartum doula support covered by insurance or FSA/HSA? +
Most standard health insurance plans don't cover postpartum doula services, though this is slowly changing in some states. The good news: HSA (Health Savings Account) and FSA (Flexible Spending Account) funds can typically be used for postpartum doula services. If you have an HSA or FSA, you can pay for sessions with pre-tax dollars β€” which meaningfully reduces your out-of-pocket cost. Aridia has an NPI (National Provider Identifier) number, which means she can provide the documentation your HSA or FSA plan requires for reimbursement. After your visit, she can issue a superbill or itemized receipt with all the information your plan needs β€” no extra steps for you. If you're not sure whether your plan covers doula services, reach out and we can walk you through what to ask your benefits administrator.
